1. Working principle

Secondly, there is a certain resistance to the flowing medium. This is determined by the characteristics of the brass valve, and there is a pressure difference between the front and rear. When the medium flows through the valve, it must be resisted, thereby losing a certain amount of energy, so this problem must be considered at the beginning of the design of the brass valve.


Tightness is the main technical performance index of any valve. As a brass valve, the main sealing parts are roughly divided into the contact between the opening and closing parts and the two sealing surfaces of the valve seat; the cooperation between the packing and the valve stem and the stuffing box; There are three places where the valve body and the valve cover are connected. They are what we call internal leakage and external leakage, of which the latter two are the so-called external leakage. Internal leakage is the main problem in valve work, which is unforgivable. External leakage will lead to different degrees of pollution and losses. Serious leakage of toxic, flammable and explosive media will lead to serious safety problems.
